Reaching the people of El Salvador with the love of Jesus Christ by providing some much needed practical help through building projects and medical care
Here in El Salvador we have joined with King’s Castle Ministries (Castillo Del Rey) (http://www.kingscastle.org), a ministry that has been reaching Salvadorans since 1989. The purpose of King’s Castle Ministries is to raise up an army of young, spirit-filled warriors who would invade Latin America with the simple message that “Jesus Saves and is Coming Soon.”
John’s primary focus is to oversee national and international construction teams coming to El Salvador to help progress the existing and future construction initiatives with King’s Castle. With a new program recently started called Economics and Practical Business Training (EPBT), John we be training and equipping our Master’s Commission Bible college students with the life skills of basic carpentry. This will enable them to raise funds to go overseas as well as possibly starting a business in countries closed to the gospel.
Audrey has begun her work in the King’s Castle medical clinic. She continues to use her expertise in pharmacy to provide care for our neighbouring communities. Many of our patients walk and/or take several buses to come to our clinic, where they receive free medical care and medications. This is usually an all day outing for them. Each week our patients express their appreciation to us with hugs, small gifts, and a “God Bless You.” Audrey is humbled by the love our patients extend to us.
With our new program, EPBT, Audrey has begun to teach our Master’s Commission students classes on Biblical Finances. Our students have never received any teaching about finances. Our goal to to equip them to manage their finances more efficiently. It doesn’t matter which country our students will be in, every country has their own currency. Financial principles will still apply and our students will be able to be good stewards of the money that God has blessed them with.
